SAME Small Business Expo
March 12 - 13, 2014 - Northbrook, IL
This year’s SAME Small Business EXPO will host
regional Federal and State agency representatives including the US Army Corps
of Engineers, EPA, FAA, NAVFAC Midwest, US SBA and others.
Even with fluctuating budgets and
priorities at the Federal level, the Federal government will be spending over
$450 billion dollars on goods and services. Of these dollars, the Federal
government has established a goal of 23% to be awarded to small
businesses. In addition, large Federal contractors are also required to
subcontract a portion of their dollars to small businesses. This
conference will provide attendees both the opportunity to learn more about the
technical requirements as well as the opportunity to meet and network with
agency representatives and large government primes.
